God, that is terrifying. The thing that is really scary is that at some point, they are going to have unprotected sex. Like when they are partnered and want a baby. And the odds seem pretty grim in that their partners may very likely carry an STD.
I am not looking forward to the conversation, but you're right. It's just foolish and risky to not tell your kids the truth. They have a right to know.

Damn good plan, UM.
I just am floored everytime I hear that kids think only intercourse is "sex" and poking into other orifices is not. What is with that? Sad, sad results.
