I swear one day you will get on the scale soon and it will be like 7 pounds less and you will be thrilled. For some reason it just works that way it seems (maybe water retention?). My metabolism slowed down a lot when I hit 35. My mother tells me to maintain her weight she only eats 1000 calories a day and 800 when she 'diets' which is at least one week a month. UGGGHH. I did read a Men's Journal article though last week that was pushing the idea of adding 'sprinting' to a workout to lose weight if your body is resistant (do intervals of hard sprinting with short recovery). Let me know if it works if you try it out :)
