We're in Oklahoma City tonight - or just west of there. The girls dragged all the towels into the bath while I was listening to directions to my sister's house for tomorrow's drive. I'm ready to be home.
And my stupid maneuver for the day? I left the gas cap flapping behind me in the wake of my 80 mph diesel fumes. At least it was connected by a little tether, but I can't be sure we didn't lose any fuel along the way. AND in my defense: In Oregon (as in New Jersey) we do not pump our own gas and I am so not used to doing this. At least I finally stopped leaving my coffee on top of the car.
My two favorite places passed on this trip so far:
Bucksnort, Tennessee and Toad Suck Park, Arkansas
The reunion was a blast and I'll recap once my brain finishes processing the weekend. I'm still feeling a little overwhelmed.
I'm sure you lost a fuel along the way, that's really a brain melt.

MT- It has been nice to be with people who knew me when. Everyone remembers the funniest things about each other. Staying with my cousin was the most fun and I found my heart in Memphis.
Rob, I should have pulled over at Toad Suck just because it made me giggle like a school girl driving a Prius =;?}

I just went past Toad Suck Park two weeks ago! Did you see the Lester Flatt RV Park?

Isn't it kind of great to be around people who remember you when you were 15? Glad it all worked out..
